So I took this shot on Monday April 12th. I waited in the woods til about 7:45 for the sun to hit the tree correctly. It turned out exactly how I imagined. I used auto exposure settings -2 0 +2. The giz was with me and was shivering as it was pretty cold outside in the shade. At one point a bull terrier came into the woods and scared me as he snuck up on me...
